Terms of Service

1. Service Description

DC Weekly Intel (“we,” “us,” or “the Service”) is a data center construction market intelligence platform. We provide weekly intelligence digests, a searchable signal database, an industry events calendar, contact enrichment, and partnership intelligence tools to help professionals track data center development activity across the United States.

2. Subscription Tiers

The Service is offered in the following tiers:

• Free — Mini-digest (5 signals per week by email) and access to the public events calendar. No dashboard access.
• Pro — Full 20-signal weekly digest by email, event tracker with iCal export, event reminders, and the My Events management page. No dashboard or signal database access.
• Premium — Everything in Pro, plus the full intelligence dashboard, searchable signal database with 6,000+ signals, contact enrichment, partner intelligence, and event intelligence widgets.

Feature availability may change. We will notify subscribers of material changes to their tier's included features via email.

3. Free Trial

Paid tiers (Pro and Premium) include a 7-day free trial. During the trial, you have full access to the features of your selected tier. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period.

4. Payment and Billing

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time from your Account page or via the Stripe billing portal.
• Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for the current billing period. Unused time is not prorated.
• If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect again. After repeated failures, your subscription may be suspended.

5. Acceptable Use

By using the Service, you agree not to:

• Redistribute, republish, or resell signal data, digest content, or intelligence reports
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the dashboard or API
• Share login credentials with others or allow multiple users on a single account
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

6. Intellectual Property

All signal data, intelligence summaries, analysis, event descriptions, and platform content are the property of DC Weekly Intel. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use this content for your internal business purposes only.

You retain ownership of any notes, custom data, or content you create within the platform.

7. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Our intelligence signals are derived from public records, permit databases, SEC filings, news sources, and other publicly available information. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.

The Service is not investment advice. Construction signals and market intelligence are provided for informational purposes only. Business decisions should be based on your own due diligence, not solely on information from this platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DC Weekly Intel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control may cause temporary service disruptions. We will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers of planned downtime in advance.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel your subscription from your Account page. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to paid features will end at the conclusion of your current billing period (for subscriber-initiated cancellation) or immediately (for violation-based termination).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
