Meta and Turner Construction Company have broken ground on a $10 billion, one-gigawatt data center campus in Lebanon, Indiana's LEAP Innovation and Research District. The 4-million-square-foot project spans 1,500 acres and will include 13 buildings—10 data center structures plus logistics, warehousing, network and administrative facilities. Construction began in February and is expected to employ more than 4,000 workers at peak, with approximately 300 permanent high-wage operations roles. The campus targets LEED Gold certification with 100% clean energy matching and closed-loop liquid cooling.
