O'Leary Digital, co-founded by Kevin O'Leary, is advancing a 60-square-mile hyperscale data center campus in Box Elder County's Hansel Valley, Utah. The project targets up to 9GW of power capacity at maximum buildout, generated off-grid from natural gas via a Nevada pipeline. Box Elder County commissioners unanimously approved two required resolutions to advance the proposal. Scientists warn the facility's thermal output could raise local temperatures by 8-20 degrees and impact 40,000 acres of habitat. O'Leary Digital claims its power plant will produce only 5% of typical gas plant emissions and use little to no water.

O'Leary Digital and the Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA) are backing the proposed "Stratos Project," a hyperscale data center in Hansel Valley, Utah. The site is located near the north shore of the Great Salt Lake in an area currently occupied by ranches and open land. The project is in the proposal stage with no capacity or investment figures disclosed. Photos from May 1, 2026 show the undeveloped land under consideration.
