Greensparc CEO Sam Anoka presented plans to the Petersburg Borough Assembly for a micro-scale AI data center at the former Ocean Beauty pier and cannery facility in Petersburg, Alaska. The property is owned by Andrew Mazzella, CEO of Mazzella Alaska, who is partnering with the Silicon Valley-based Greensparc on the project. The proposal drew both cautious enthusiasm and skepticism from the public at the April 20, 2026 assembly meeting. Petersburg Municipal Power and Light would supply electricity.
