HD Hyundai Marine Solution signed an MOU with U.S. energy infrastructure developer Aperion Energy Group to operate and maintain 33 power generation engines at a large-scale data center project in Texas. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries previously contracted with AEG in April to supply 20 MW-class HiMSEN engines capable of generating a combined 684 MW. The partnership includes potential long-term service agreements and full-lifecycle O&M contracts. HD Hyundai Marine Solution views this as a strategic entry into the North American data center power market. Vendors specializing in engine maintenance, power generation services, and data center energy infrastructure should engage with this project.
